Zoom
Zoom in or out on your chord sheet in Play Mode for better readability on any screen.
Use zoom in Play Mode when you want the chart larger or smaller without leaving the performance view.
Change the zoom
Open the song in Play Mode.
Find the zoom control in the Play Mode toolbar.
Click - to zoom out or + to zoom in.
Watch the percentage in the middle update as you adjust it.
On desktop, the zoom controls stay visible in the toolbar.
On smaller screens, tap the zoom button first to expand the controls, then use - or +.
Zoom range
Play Mode zoom runs from 50% to 200% in 10% steps.
The current zoom level appears in the middle of the control. If you have changed it from 100%, you can click the percentage to reset it back to 100%.
What zoom changes
Zoom changes how the chart is drawn in Play Mode. As you zoom in or out, the layout can reflow to match the new reading size, so line wrapping may change too.
It helps you find a layout that is easier to read on the screen you are using.
Zoom is saved per song
Chordly remembers the zoom level for each song in Play Mode. If you come back to the same song later, it opens with the zoom level you used last time.
