Discover Songs
Open the Discover Songs tab to jump to Chordly's public `/play` page, where you can search and browse public songs from the community.
The Discover Songs tab opens Chordly's public /play page.
This is where you browse public songs from other Chordly users instead of the songs in your own library.
What to expect when you open it
The /play page gives you two ways to explore:
- a search bar for finding songs by title or artist
- discovery sections like Featured, Trending, and Most Popular
Open any song there, and it opens in Play Mode.
Discover Songs vs Song Library
The difference between these two links is simple:
- Song Library is for songs you own or have access to
- Discover Songs is for songs outside that library
If you want to organize, edit, search, or reopen your own songs, stay in the dashboard library.
If you want public songs from the wider Chordly community, open Discover Songs.
Play Mode and Discover Songs
Discover Songs leads straight into Play Mode because that is where public songs are opened. Use it when you want to search, browse, and open public songs, not when you want to manage your own library.
