Find Users
Find other Chordly users by username, send friend requests, accept requests, and open user profiles from the dashboard.
Open the Find Users tab to look people up by username, send friend requests, accept one you received, or open another user's profile.
Search by username
The search field on this page is built for usernames.
Open Find Users from the dashboard sidebar.
Type a username into Search by username…
Click a result to open that user's profile.
Each result shows the user's avatar, username, and join date.
Friend request states
The action buttons on this page change depending on your current relationship with that person.
- If you are not connected yet, you can send a friend request.
- If your request is pending, you can cancel it.
- If they sent you a request first, you can accept it.
- If you are already friends, you can remove them.
This is the quickest way to handle requests while you are already browsing users.
Open another user's profile
Clicking a user row opens that person's profile page.
That profile shows:
- their avatar and cover photo
- their song count
- their friend count
If they have added them, you'll also see their bio and links.
Not every profile shows a song list. Other users' songs are only visible to friends.

When to use it
Use the Find Users tab when you want to:
- add someone by username
- accept a request while you are already browsing users
- remove a friend
- open another user's profile
If you are mainly responding to pending requests, Notifications is usually the faster route.
