Text Color
Change the color of your lyrics and document text using the color picker, theme colors, or a custom hex value.
Use the color picker in the toolbar to change lyric and document text color.
Change text color
Select the text you want to recolor.
Open the color picker in the toolbar.
Choose a color from the picker.
The picker includes:
- recently used colors
- theme colors
- standard colors
- a custom hex field
Use a custom hex color
If you already know the exact color you want, type a hex value into the custom color field and apply it.
Chordly accepts standard hex color values such as #1D4ED8 or #FF5733.
What this control changes
This toolbar control changes document text color.
Chord colors are handled separately inside the chord editing workflow. If you want to change a chord's text color or background, use the chord-specific controls described in Formatting Chords.
