Notifications
Use Chordly Notifications to manage friend-request activity, including accepting, rejecting, and dismissing requests.
Notifications keeps all friend-request activity in one place.
This page covers incoming friend requests and the follow-up notifications that appear when requests are accepted or rejected.
What notifications appear here
Current notification types include:
- incoming friend requests
- friend requests that were accepted
- friend requests that were rejected
If you are looking for message conversations, use Messages instead.
Accept or reject a request
On an incoming friend request, the page gives you direct action buttons.

- reject the request
Filter the page
The full notification page includes two simple filters:
allunread
Use unread when you only want to work through the items that still need attention.
Dismiss finished notifications
Incoming friend requests show Accept and Reject buttons.
Accepted and rejected request notifications show a Dismiss button once you have seen them.
Open the related profile
Click the username in a notification to open that person's profile page.
