What is Play Mode in Chordly?
Play Mode is a full-screen, distraction-free reading view for any chord sheet. It is designed for rehearsal and performance — you can autoscroll, transpose temporarily, zoom in or out, and use the built-in metronome, all without editing the chart.
How does autoscroll work in Chordly?
Open Play Mode, activate autoscroll, and set your scroll speed. The chord sheet will scroll automatically at that speed so you can read and play without touching your device.
Does transposing in Play Mode change my chord sheet?
No. Play Mode transposition is temporary and only affects the version you are viewing. The original chord sheet in the editor stays unchanged. Play Mode remembers the transpose setting for each song so it opens the same way next time.
Can I use Chordly on stage?
Yes. Play Mode works on mobile and tablet, and the controls are designed to stay out of the way while you read the chart. Autoscroll makes it possible to use Chordly completely hands-free during a performance.
